My inspiration of Kanela Handmade was to bring Colombian and Costa Rican traditions through hand crafted fair trade products to Shelter Island. My pop up shop is an arts, crafts, fashion and accessory store.
I offer beautiful and unique items such as Mochilla’s (hand bags) hand made from the Wayuu tribe in Colombia that help to support their economy. Additionally, you will find women’s summer fashions and accessories that are perfect for the beach or an evening out. Handmade ponchos, scarfs, jewelry and beauty essentials. Plus nature inspired crafts like painted resin beach art, paintings and other artwork.
