ARTSI — Artists of Shelter Island — is a great way to view art where it starts. Founded in 2009 by working Shelter Island artists of various disciplines, ARTSI hosts an annual open studios tour that's become a summer highlight for visiting art lovers.

Shelter Island Country Club, known affectionately as "Goat Hill,” is a historic, nine-hole public golf course. The course covers 2,512 yards of widely varying, hilly terrain. The club features a driving range, golf carts, pull carts and clubs for rent. A PGA professional is onsite and lessons are available.

My inspiration of Kanela Handmade Boutique was to bring Colombian and Costa Rican traditions to Shelter Island through hand crafted fair trade products. My pop up shop offers arts, crafts, and women's clothing, jewelry and accessories.
