The PTSA of Shelter Island welcomes parents, teachers, students and members of the wider Shelter Island community. The organization focuses on the well-being of every student from Pre-K through 12. It fosters advocacy, networking, resource sharing and volunteer leadership training. In monthly meetings during the school year, the PTSA organizes events that encourage community engagement like the annual boo-hoo breakfast, back to school BBQ, books sales, reading partnership, talent show and more.
