Our mission is to present world-renowned artists and rising stars of concert music to East End music lovers. Founded in 1977, SIFM incorporated as non-profit in 1979. We present five free concerts annually. Our repertory ranges from the baroque, classic and romantic to contemporary periods. The musicians we bring to the Island perform at prestigious venues in major cities around the world. Yet, our concerts at the Shelter Island Presbyterian Church are open to all with a reception afterwards, free of charge. That’s due to the support of our loyal and generous audience through annual contributions and donations at the door. We invite you to join us for another extraordinary season.
